About

who?

Welgeen is a design studio from Eindhoven consisting of Sandra Verhoeven, Chris Geene and Pieter Wels. We work on commissioned design projects, varying from brand identities to digital experiences and installations. Besides this we work on autonomous projects exploring technological opportunities and creating art & tech products, installations and experiences.

In our work we explore, combine and integrate analog and digital development possibilities through experiments in search of novel design, interaction and development methods. In every project we search for an interplay between technology, art and design experiences. We are led by curiosity, naivety, fun, randomizing, chaos, mistakes and serendipity to bring our ideas to life.

We happily make stuff, doing research, giving workshops, presentations and seminars.

Besides this we work as lecturers at Fontys University Applied Science teaching innovation, design and creative coding.
